Make Everyday Earth Day
Earth is our forever abode. It has gifted us with abundant of natural resources which we fancily use each day without understanding how are daily activities are affecting the natural resources eventually leading to depletion. Human activities have been harming Earth and nature. Time and again awareness on How to Save Mother Earth has been raised through articles and campaigns. As terrace designers and flag bearers of greenery we firmly believe that time has come act upon it. We have listed a few points which if made a part of daily lives can save our Mother Earth from future harm.
1. Use Florouscent bulbs :
Florouscent bulbs are energy saving bulbs. Changing the bulbs for your homes and office to make it energy efficient can go a very long way in conserving our Earth.
2. Switch off Lights and Appliances
Its always a wise and careful habit to switch off lights whenever not in use. Its a step that you take towards energy efficiency. All home and kitchen appliances also should be switched off when not in use. Its convenient to use multi plug devices so that it can be switched off in one go. Even computers and laptops should be shut down rather than keeping them in standby or sleep mode.
3. Green Spaces
There has been a rapid increase in deforestation making way for high rise buildings. Green spaces are totally swiped off leaving us with no open space to get some fresh. This where terrace garden designers in Delhi have opted in to offer people their very own green space at their homes and office.
4. Use Motion Sensors

Motion detectors are lighting equipment which are activated through motion in any space. According to architects and interior designers one should use motion sensors in corridors, hallways or passages so that there is no need to keep the lights on all the time in such areas.
5. Walk, Not Ride
Walk or ride your bike to work, school and anywhere you can. You can reduce greenhouse gases while burning some calories and improving your health. If you can't walk or bike, use mass transit or carpool. Every car not on the road makes a difference.
6. Recycle, Reuse
Go the eco-friendly way in your daily routine. Use cloth bags instead of plastic carry bags. Use glass bottles or copper bottles instead of plastic ones. Make less use of plastic in your everyday life. Plastic is a non biodegradable material which can seriously cause a lot of harm to our Earth. Our small measures can help us in saving Earth in the long run.
6. Save Water
Pay attention to how you use water. The little things can make a big difference. Every time you turn off the water while you're brushing your teeth, you're doing something good. Take short and quick showers. Get leaky taps and faucets repaired.
If we all pledge to make these small changes in our daily lives we will soon see a big change in our environment, nature and also our quality of life.
